A Message from Lady X

Dear Elgin County Secret Library Agents,

My name is Lady X.

I am a real-life bazillionaire and I love to read. In fact, I have my very own private library full of treasured and exceptional books of all kinds from all around the world.

However, I do have a problem and I am in need of your help. You see, every night, when the lights are off, mysterious rustling sounds, such as pages turning, squeaks, growls and murmurs, are heard coming from my own private library.

I'm a keen reader, and I like all kinds of books- there are just so many interesting things to learn about and so many different stories in the world. I love to share both my good fortune and my love of books by donating many rare and unique books to the Elgin County Library.

Now, my important charitable work is in jeopardy if the unexplained disturbances in my library are not solved soon. What could be causing such a commotion among the books?

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to help me solve the mystery of the strange sounds coming from my library.
